As stated in the developer's new blog, the deadline for "Path of Exile 3.13" has been postponed to January because the original release date now coincides with the new release date of Cyberpunk 2077.
Designer Chris Wilson wrote in the new blog: "Yesterday, the record Projekt Red announced that "Cyberpunk 2077" will be released on December 10." "We don't want our players to have to be here. To choose between the two games, we decided to quit the game and postpone the release of "Path of Exile" 3.13 to January." But this does not affect players' enthusiasm for using POE Currency in the heist.
We previously set the release date for the 3.13 extension on December 11. Yesterday, Pro Proktkt Red CD announced that Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on December 10th. We decided to postpone the release of "Path of Exile 3.13" to January.
Wilson said that the development team still hopes that "Path of Exile" 3.13 can be completed in early December to mid-December, but the development team will start the 3.14 expansion within one month of the delay. Grinding Gear Games will arrange a several-week event for players on the path of exile during the Christmas and New Year holidays to replace the planned expansion.
The developer also warned that POE Items will have a slight domino effect and "may" cause a slight change in the release schedule during 2021 to accommodate the delay. At the same time, the shockwave of Cyberpunk 2077's latest delay is still being felt, at least CD Projekt Red's own social media team is shocked by it.
